Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, August 31, 2022, relayed the story of Dr. Rolf’s scheme to break Stefan and Gabi apart. He brainwashed him to forget Gabi and remember Chloe. Dr. Rolf was convinced Stefan would fall in love with Chloe as soon as he woke up. Rachel was upset with Chloe for trying to send her mother away.
Shawn had a word with Chloe and decided to patch up with Belle. He was angry because EJ had called on the landline, reminding him of Belle’s betrayal. Meanwhile, EJ played a recording of Johnny and Ava to prove Ava was not mentally fit to make a vote at DiMera Enterprises. How would that pan out? Here is everything about it.
Dr. Rolf Brainwashes Stefan
In this episode of Days of Our Lives, we saw Dr. Rolf remove Gabi Hernandez’s memories from Stefan DiMera’s mind. He hooked up his brain with a special dial. It caused a lot of pain to Stefan, hence associating all his memories with Gabi with pain. Dr. Rolf hoped that Stefan would only remember Gabi as a negative experience.
Moreover, He encouraged Stefan to think of his positive memories of Chloe Lane. Stefan smiled in pleasure when he thought of Chloe. Dr. Rolf was convinced that their plan had succeeded, and now Stefan would only love Chloe and forget Gabi. However, would that work? We will know soon.
Speaking of Chloe, Rachel was sad because Chloe was trying to send her mom away. Rachel hated Chloe; Brady tried to calm down her daughter. However, Rachel rushed out of the room and went to her friend. Belle arrived home and saw Shawn working out to burn away his anger.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Shawn & Belle Patch Up
Later on in the episode, Shawn confessed EJ had called on the landline to ask about work. Of course, Belle understood Shawn was angry because he was jealous. She understood she could not undo the damage done with EJ. However, she took his anger seriously and suggested they should make love and move on from their disagreement.
After that, Belle planted a passionate kiss on his lips. Shawn was unhappy with this solution and left the room when Brady interrupted. Belle assured Brady about the custody case, and Shawn sought Chloe’s advice. It was high time; Shawn needed to make a decision. Later in the Days of Our Lives episode, Shawn confronted Belle and told her they could not go on like this. He asked her to join him in the shower and shared a kiss.
EJ Threatens Ava
At the DiMera Enterprises, EJ told Mr. Shin that Ava was seeing dead people and hallucinating about her dead husband. Ava denied that, and Gabi and Lin supported her. However, EJ recorded Johnny and Ava’s conversation. During their chat, Ava revealed that she had seen Jake.
After EJ played the recording, Mr. Shin declared that Ava could not vote until her mental state was given the green light. Li and Gabi were busted for their lies, and Mr. Shin was not happy. Adding to that, Johnny switched sides and gave Gabi his vote. EJ was furious because that denied him a victory in the vote.
Later, EJ tried to throw Ava out of the house, but Johnny declared he would also leave. EJ backed down. Things are going to get complicated in the DiMera mansion soon.
