Victor Kiriakis has been a huge part of Days of Our Lives for many beautiful years. He first appeared as Victor in Salem, in the year 1985, and has remained a powerful player on the field till date. However, the Daytime Industry suffered a huge loss in 2022, when Victor’s portrayer, actor John Aniston passed away. Although, his death in real life did not immediately lead to his character’s death on the Peacock soap. We know that Days of Our Lives films a few months in advance, so there were still episodes previously recorded with John that remained to be aired.
However, since the Days of Our Lives legend John Aniston is not amongst us anymore, filming beyond those existing episodes is not possible. This has obviously left the makers of the soap with a difficult choice to make. They either need to kill Victor Kiriakis on the soap, or recast the role. Currently, on Days of Our Lives, Victor’s biological son, Bo Brady, is on a secret mission in Greece. Interestingly, Victor originally belongs to Greece on the soap.
Moreover, Bo Brady has constantly been going on about how he wants to rebuild his life in the same place where his father, Victor, started his. Not just that, this brainwashed version of Bo has begun to sound eerily similar to his father, Victor. He wants to build an empire based on the youth serum and orchids. All of this just to satiate the intense craving he feels for money and power! Sounds exactly like the ever-so-ruthless, Victor Kiriakis!
Is Bo Turning Into The New Victor Kiriakis On Days Of Our Lives?
Recently, in a chat with Soap Opera Digest, Peter Reckell shared that Bo has suddenly started to be controlled by his Kiriakis genes on Days of Our Lives. Thus, he is discovering that side of him in the very place his father grew up in. He is constantly pushing Kayla to help him build the orchid empire so he can become rich and powerful like his father. Kayla, of course, does not approve of her brother’s plans. All she wants is to go back home.
However, Bo seems committed to going all nine yards to make his plan a success. But how many lines will Bo be willing to cross for it? Will he truly stop at nothing? The latest Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Bo will become violent in the upcoming episodes when his plan hits a hurdle. By the looks of how things are going, the makers may not have to recast the role of Victor Kiriakis at all. Because the brainwashed Bo will soon turn into Victor himself!
The only hope at saving Bo from becoming his father is probably a reunion with Hope! But will she be able to get through to him?
