Duggar: Why Did The Duggars Sell Their Family Compound?

Even though the show has been canceled, the Duggers are still topping the headlines. That’s because Jim Bob has sold his family compound for 46.4K. TheSun has exclusively reported that the celebrity family has sold 5.80acres of their land to their neighbors. Further, a property line adjustment was filled by both parties before the sale. The audience feels that Jim Bob needed to arrange some capital for Josh, so they sold the land. Hence, there are speculations that the patriarch might be trying to make up for the lost income. More so, fans believe Jim Bob is paying Josh’s legal fee. That’s because the father supported his son by attending Josh’s final days of the trial.

On the contrary, previously, the family is losing an estimated amount close to $850,000 a year. Further, the family used to get paid $80K for the filming. Therefore, the family had earned around $850K per season. However, the family’s income shocked many fans. Also, the whole income went to Jim Bob. And he invested some of it for the family and handed out the rest. Moreover, the defense has officially run the Duggars dry.
