It has been a while since Jill Duggar made it to Duggar News. After her brutal confessions, fans knew she had a tough childhood. She also decided to speak up against her family in the Shiny Happy People documentary. But fans hadn’t heard much from her since then until recently. Jill and Derrick made a heavy post on Instagram revealing they lost their baby girl to stillbirth.
Since then, Jill and Derrick have made another post about this loss. They finally laid their daughter-to-be, Isla Marie Dillard, to rest recently. The couple made this announcement on Instagram yet again. In the pictures, there was a box with some flowers and soft toys. Then, they also shared a card with a picture of them both mourning, and the caption said, “Forever In Our Hearts Isla Marie Dillard planted on earth to bloom in heaven.”
As per the card, Dillards hosted the funeral service on April 19, 2024, with an officiant. More pictures included the things Isla would have used and played with had she been alive, like toys, blankets, books, and so on. There was also a beautiful pink colored cake in the shape of a heart. At last, Jill concluded the post while saying, they will hold their little pricess in their hearts until they will get to hold her in heaven.

The news about Jill’s stillbirth came as a shock to the Duggar News followers. They had no idea the family had gone through such a devastating loss. In a new post, the couple announced that their baby girl was due in August 2024. Alas, the world had other, cruel plans. The Counting On star was merely 4 months pregnant until they found out the baby didn’t make it in her utero.
At last, the couple emphasied upon how much the family loved Isla from the very beginning. Not only the parents but their three elder brothers were also very excited to meet their little sister. Jill and Derrick appreciated the condolences and prayers coming their way as they chose to heal from their loss. They shared a picture of themselves holding the departed soul in their arms.
