Jill Duggar had had to go through a lot. Her childhood was troublesome, as revealed after Josh Dugar’s crimes came into the limelight. But she still managed to make a good life for herself after marrying Derick Dillard and having three kids. Apparently, the Duggar News couple was expecting yet another baby, supposed to be due in August 2024.
As per Jill and Derick’s joint statement, they lost the baby. They suffered from a stillbirth only four months after they found out about the pregnancy. The little one couldn’t make it past the utero. Hence, they announced this devastating Duggar News with a “heavy heart.” The couple also announced the name of their former daughter-to-be, Isla Marie Dillard.
Both Jill and Derick revealed that they had loved their baby girl from the start. They were very excited to introduce her three elder brothers. At last, the duo appreciated everyone’s prayers as they wished to heal as well as grieve from this tragic loss. They shared a picture with the post, holding on to eachother while looking down with utmost sorrow.

While a lot of Duggar News followers wished strength upon Jill and Derick and gave their condolence, it wasn’t the first time they had gone through something like this. Longtime fans must remember how the former made a post in 2021 about her miscarriage. A year later, the ex Counting On star reflected on that moment and posted about it on social media.
Jill shared a picture of herself and shared how it had been a year since the family lost their baby, River Bliss. She felt conflicted while experiencing loss and joy as she was nursing another one of her baby boys, Freddy. She called the journey of motherhood a blessing as well as a journey.
Jill also included a picture of a memory box with a pregnancy test, an angel showpiece, and a poem.
