Stacey and Jack had yielded to the desire after several charged moments before Christmas on EastEnders. It’s been a short time since Denise Fox found out about their affair. It did not only cause tension in her friendship with Stacey. It also jeopardised her marriage with Jack. Rumours have it that Jack and Stacey will get close again.
The Six are trying hard to hold their life together and act normal. Making mistakes is out of the equation. But with Denise throwing herself all over the place, the red flag rises for the ladies. Adding fuel to the fire, Denise visits Nish, leaving Suki shocked. Nevertheless, Denise signs up for marriage therapy with Jack to retain her normality. But she is distracted as the haunting effects of Christmas Day murder don’t seem to wear off.
Suki reveals about Denise’s visit to Nish when Kathy calls an emergency meeting in the Vic Barrel store. The other four women are left stunned upon hearing the news. Finally, Stacey comes up with a plan. Jack heads out for some fresh air after a heated discussion with Denise. He bumps into Stacey, where she pretends to be concerned about Jack’s issues. She’s so eager to glean information on Denise. However, dancing to the old tune, the duo finds themselves in another intense moment. It becomes pretty evident that emotions still linger between them.
How It Began On EastEnders?
The romance between Jack and Stacey started to bud when he had trouble in his marriage with Denise on EastEnders. Later, we saw Stacey contacting the Walford PD detective to find her missing best friend, Eve Unwin.
Thinking her stalker Theo to be the perpetrator in Eve’s disappearance, Stacey turned to Jack for help once again. But Jack insisted that it wasn’t Theo. She headed to the Vic for a drink to take her mind off her troubles. Frustrated, Slater left early to offer Jack an apology. Jack invited her in, and soon, they shared their ordeals of failed relationships with other partners. As Denise enjoyed a drink alone at the Vic, Stacey and Jack became intimate. When Stacey was about to leave, the two exchanged a passionate kiss.
