Ever since Lily and Ricky’s pregnancy storyline rolled out on EastEnders, Jack and Stacey had been spending a lot of time together. However, it wasn’t until Jack started backing Stacey up in the whole Theo ordeal that their dynamic changed. Stacey, in fact, has a long-standing romantic history with Branning men. She was previously involved with Jack’s brother, Max, and Max’s son- Bradley. Now, it seems that Stacey is about to add another Branning to her list of romances!
Those who tuned into the previous episode of EastEnders saw Jack and Stacey sharing a steamy kiss. While it may have been a bit unexpected in that very episode, it certainly wasn’t all that shocking. The two had been coming closer to each other for weeks now. With Jack being her support against Theo. He is even hiding Stacey’s secret of having staged the crime scene when Freddie beat Theo. Even on the personal front, Jack has been leaning on Stacey for support due to his ongoing marital woes with Denise.
The Beginning Of A Hot Mess On EastEnders
Is this passionate liplock where the duo draws the line, or will this spiral into a full-blow affair on EastEnders? Cast member Scott Maslen confirms to the media that this is definitely not a one-time thing. He believes that there are surely real feelings involved here with Jack and Stacey. Because these kinds of things do not happen just like that. The actor also insists that fans must not confuse Jack’s kiss as a retaliation for Denise’s tryst with Ravi earlier this year.
But if you think about it, this is actually much worse. Because Jack, Stacey, and Denise will now get tangled in a really messy web on EastEnders. In fact, the spoilers for the upcoming week also hint at the same. Denise finds out about what happened between Jack and Stacey in the week of December 18, 2023. As a result, she decides to walk away from Jack and leave the home. However, that just sends their daughter spiraling, and she runs away from home. Creating a whole new mess to take care of.
Later, Jack tells Denise to stay back for the sake of the kids. Even though if she does decide to stay back, it’s not like all will be miraculously well on EastEnders. They were already facing a rift, and this will only deepen the tear. Meanwhile, Jack and Stacey will struggle to reject the pull they feel towards each other.
