Now, the latest spoilers reveal that the long-running soap will focus on yet another issue-based tale. This time with Alfie Moon in the center stage. Viewers who tuned into the recent epsiodes may have seen Alfie’s confrontation with Tommy, and the subsequent physical pain he endured.
The latest spoilers tease that Phil Mitchell will push Alfie for a check-up at the hospital. Furthermore, he will urge the latter to pay close attention to his health for the sake of his children. As not every child is lucky to have both their parents alive and around. Perhaps hinting towards the struggle Lexi is facing after Lola’s devastating passing. This will certainly go a long way with Alfie and he will take things more seriously, scheduling an MRI scan and the works.
Alfie’s Journey To A Heart Breaking Diagnosis On EastEnders
EastEnders makers have confirmed to the media that in the upcoming episodes, Alfie will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. His condition will come to light when he goes to the hospital to get the injury checked that he sustained at his son’s hands. The August 15, 2023, episode set this storyline in motion. When Alfie still felt pain, Phil urged him to go for a check-up. He took the advice and visited the hospital. Unfortunately, he received some really alarming news there.
The nurse found traces of blood in Alfie’s urine on EastEnders. He then went in for a CT scan, which made his medical updates worse. The CT scan reflected that Alfie’s prostate has become rather enlarged. Although an enlarged prostate can be common in men his age, the medical staff advised further blood tests. This story will get more attention next week. So we will have to wait to find out how Alfie deals with the truth!
