EastEnders: Fan Tosses a WILD Theory!
So, this Redditor tossed this amazing theory that got us all hyped up! They believed there was a bigger plan behind why the writers axed the Taylors but kept Bernie. Remember when Keanu met his fate? Moreover, EastEnders made viewers believe that Dean or someone was still at Vic and the back door was left ajar. They mentioned that this detail would resurface later.
The fan first explained Bernie’s involvement as she started this by spilling beans to Phil about Keanu. Keanu snubbed her from the wedding, and yet Bernie tried to reconcile. They said that Keanu’s sister sensed trouble for his brother and followed him to the pub when Linda killed Keanu. Since then, Bernie has been playing along slyly, coming to the aid of the Six. How?
Well, the user explained that Bernadette bought their false story and also advised Karen to keep the peace. She is only sticking around because she knows what really happened to Keanu. Plus, the EastEnders enthusiast speculated that Bernie was plotting her revenge under the radar.
To back his theory, they pointed out that Bernie also snagged her café job back where his brother was buried. Plus, she accidentally played Keanu’s voice note at the café reopening on EastEnders. Eventually, the Six would be blackmailed, and Dean would likely be blamed. Lastly, they bet that Bernie’s got her hands on Linda’s missing murder weapon.
Redditors Shoot Their 2 Cents!
The comment zone remained divided. Some Redditors couldn’t buy this theory because they thought Bernie wasn’t “smart” enough. One user expressed, “I doubt she’d hide it well if she did know anything.” Another chimed, “There’s no way she’s cunning enough to pull this off.” Additionally, they added that writers would insult EastEnders viewers by making her “some kind of calculated genius.”
In addition, the third dismissed Bernie’s presence in the cafe at the time. They pointed out, “She would have jumped out and tried to stop Keanu strangling Sharon.” Instead, they pitched Dean to be the mastermind. “I think he’d get pleasure out of seeing Linda suffering more on EastEnders.”
On the flipside, we saw a few fans rooting for Bernie! One user took that theory as plausible but was hesitant because Bernie hadn’t shown any suspicion or emotions yet. Another bit back to the user who called Bernie “dumb.” “It’s always the ones you least expect, and this would explain why she’s the only Taylor left,” they explained.
