Ever since Theo Hawthorne set foot in Walford, he has managed to raise many eyebrows on EastEnders. It seems like every character was catching the vibe that something is majorly “off” about Freddie’s former teacher. Initially, it felt like Theo was harboring foul intentions for the pregnant teen, Lily Slater. After all, he took such a keen interest in her since day one. Lily Is Shocked To See Theo’s NEW TARGET
Until recently, it seemed like the person of interest for Theo on EastEnders was Lily. From his very arrival, he seemed focused on the teen. First, he gifted her a pair of expensive trainers, then secretly gave her money and asked Lily to keep it on the down low. However, when Lily shared the secret with her friends, they feared that Theo might be attempting to “groom” Lily. In fact, after Lily had to take leave from school due to her pregnancy complications, Theo offered to give her free private tuition!
While this “kind gesture” really pleased Lily’s mom, Stacey, it only furthered Martin’s suspicions of Theo on EastEnders. It led Martin to try and unearth Theo’s past in the school he used to teach at. In his investigation, Martin learnt that Theo left after his alleged inappropriate relationship with a student came to light. Armed with the intel, Martin confronted Theo in front of Stacey. But she refused to believe him. Furthermore, she called Theo “the best thing that happened to Lily.” Shockingly, Stacey is not the only one impressed by the teacher. Jean, too feels the same way. Thus, she set up Stacey and Theo on a date.
After the date on EastEnders, Theo attested to have enjoyed it to the fullest, but Stacey felt no connection. However, she still halfheartedly agreed to let Theo be her plus-one at Kathy and Rocky’s wedding upon Eve’s insistence. At the event, Lily gets the shock of her life when she realizes that Theo is her mother’s date! But what Lily still doesn’t know is that her mother was perhaps always Theo’s intended target!
Theo’s Secret Identity On EastEnders
EastEnders’ viewers might remember that when Stacey was going through a cash crunch, she started selling her photos on a private secret cams website to be able to put food on the table. Although Stacey has now stopped putting her pictures out on the cam site. But she is still video chatting with a faceless stranger by the name of Edmund. However, what she doesn’t know yet is that the secret client is none other that, Theo Hawthorne!
But what does Theo really want from Stacey on EastEnders? Was this all a coincidence, or did Theo intentionally insert himself in Lily’s life to pave his path to her mother, Stacey? Well, it seems we will find out soon! Especially since Martin has made it his personal mission to expose Theo’s intentions!
