EastEnders social media accounts actively share exciting content with the soap fans. They also regularly feature some backstage footage in their segment called, Day in the Life. Which goes on to follow a cast member of the BBC One soap around the set as they get ready to film their scenes for the day. The latest offering of the said segment, featured actress Kellie Bright, who plays Linda Carter on the soap. In the video clip, Kellie is seen giving the viewers a glimpse of her dressing room. Where she also displays Linda’s iconic earring collection.

Kellie then moves on to the dressing room to get ready for her EastEnders avatar – Linda Carter. However, as she sits down to get dressed, the camera pans across the room, revealing a blink and miss glimpse of another woman. Now this is where things get interesting! The woman in the background looks like Laurie Brett. Fans would remember that she played the character -Jane Beale, Ian’s former wife. The last time we saw her was in 2017, when she left Walford in the backseat of a taxi. However, she was most recently mentioned in 2020, when she filed for divorce from Ian Beale.
Could she be on her way back? We mean, the timing would be bang on! Ian and Cindy’s relationship is literally hanging by a thread on EastEnders. Even the latest spoilers for the week of November 13, 2023, point that Ian will have another fall out with her. So, is Jane returned to the square at this point, the pieces could fit really well!
