Perhaps actor Chad Duell was, in fact, channeling the energy from his real life! The General Hospital star took Instagram by storm when he announced that he is going to be a DAD!
This happy but unexpected news has come as such a shock to General Hospital fans. Since October 2023, Chad had been posting pictures with a stunning lady, Luana Lucci. The two of them were rumored to be dating. However, neither Chad nor Luana made any mention of their relationship status. Thus, this news has taken everyone by surprise. The mommy-to-be posted a carousel post on her Instagram account to share the pictures of the baby’s “gender reveal.” This also doubled up as an official announcement of their pregnancy.
General Hospital Star Chad Duell Reveals The Big Surprise
“We are adding a new member to the Duell family,” Luanna wrote in her post, announcing that she and Chad are having a BABY BOY. Alongside, she posted a couple of pictures with the General Hospital star and a canvas splashed with blue paint, signifying that their baby is a boy. Luana is looking radiant, dressed in a light pink fit and flare dress. She paired it with a light blue denim jacket. Meanwhile, Chad is looking effortlessly cool in a blue t-shirt.
The couple showed a sonogram of the baby in one of the pictures. The post also included a video of Chad bursting a balloon on the canvas with a bow and arrow to reveal the color of the paint. The General Hospital star also posted a similar post on his Instagram to announce the big news. Alongside a picture of him and Luanna, he wrote, “Lil’ Duell coming September 2023.. stay tuned.” Chad’s on-screen mom Carly ( actress Laura Wright), expressed her excitement for the happy news and gushed that it’s going to be another Virgo baby!
Previously, the General Hospital star went through a really rough time after his break up with his long-time partner, actress Courtney Hope.
