Jeff Coby’s Return As Cyrus Renault
When the viewers of General Hospital last saw Cyrus, he was a frightening baddie on the soap, spelling terror on the town of Port Charles. However, his latest reappearance at Pentonville prison was much tamer. Cyrus’s nephew Spencer Cassadine too, is currently incarcerated at Pentonville and having a hard time there. When a fellow inmate is bullying Spencer and is about to smash him with a heavy book, Cyrus enters and saves the Cassadine heir.
When, Spencer asks what he owes Cyrus for saving, Cyrus says he wants nothing. Furthermore, he claims to be a changed man on General Hospital. He says he has left his past behind him and is on a journey of mending himself. Although Spencer doesn’t believe him and stays wary of him, Cyrus continues to insist that he has truly changed. But is it true? Has Cyrus really changed and is now functioning from the goodness of his heart? Or is it just an act to cover up a much larger, much more sinister motive? Keep reading to find out what to expect next from Cyrus!
Massive Storyline Ahead For Cyrus On General Hospital, Working With Or Against Victor?
The latest spoilers of General Hospital suggest that soon enough, Port Charles’ resident evil, Victor Cassadine, along with his nephew Nikolas Cassadine go to visit Spencer at Pentonville prison. The big bad wolf, Cyrus, will crash the family reunion there. This, of course, will piss off Victor a great deal, and he will surely let it be known. However, in an interesting twist, while Victor may act pissed at seeing Cyrus, spoilers insinuate that Cyrus is, in fact, in cahoots with Victor. Alas, it seems Cyrus has not turned a new leaf after all.
There also are speculations that his working with Victor could also be just a garb, and his intentions might be much bigger than that. While, the two villains might be working together currently, to attain a common goal. Cyrus here may have another intention on the side. He wants to take control of the crime syndicate functioning in Port Charles and be the new mob kingpin on General Hospital. However, he does seem genuinely interested in winning the favor and approval of his sister, Laura Spencer. Can his sinister intentions and hopes to reconnect with his sister co-exist?
Looks like Cyrus Renault is going to have a lot happening for him on the upcoming episodes. So, it’s safe to assume that the scary baddie is going nowhere anytime soon. Stay tuned to ABC over weekdays to found out what exactly Cyrus has in mind on General Hospital. Meanwhile, if you have any theories, the comments section is all yours!
