While Sam and Dante had actively been part of many storylines in the recent past on General Hospital, their own romantic one was on the back burner. However, in the more recent episodes, the limelight has suddenly started to come back on their love life. That too, right around the time when Drew is preparing to ride off to prison. At first, it appeared that the track back to Sam and Dante’s romance has happened to contrast with Drew and Carly. But that may not entirely be the case! Sam and Dante Decide to Say, “I Do”
Sam and Dante have been together for a while now, on General Hospital. However, until recently, nothing gave off the vibe that Sam would be interested in making a life-long commitment. But considering how things are rapidly changing for her and Scout on the personal front, a formal commitment might soon be on the cards. Recently, Drew informed Sam about his decision of accepting a plea deal for the SEC debacle. He told Sam that he will be pleading guilty and spend six months at Spring Ridge as the sentence. This left Sam absolutely aghast. Drew had already missed out years with their daughter Scout, while in Victor’s captivity, and now he was willingly throwing away another six months to save Carly.
This certainly didn’t go down too well with Sam on General Hospital. Now, imagine her shock when she finds out that Drew is actually going away for two years! Sam will realize that this disruption in their life will totally devastate Scout. Thus, she might lean on Dante for some support in this testing phase. This might lead to Sam and Dante deciding that perhaps getting married might offer Scout a stable home and a dependable family. So even if Sam was running in the opposite direction of marriage previously, she now might want to embrace it! But will it really be that easy? Or is this just a pathway to another much bigger, more explosive storyline?
Lulu Finally Wakes Up, Returns To Push The Brakes On Sam And Dante On General Hospital?
Currently, on General Hospital, the stage seems perfectly set for a possible Sam and Dante wedding. When Drew had returned to Port Charles with Carly, there were many fans speculating, that Sam’s ex might end up causing trouble between Sam and Dante. After all, Sam and Drew share a daughter, and have quite a history! However, it seems clear now that Drew, if anything, is only going to push them closer, by choosing to go to prison for Carly. Thus, abandoning Sam and Scout as a result! It seems like the perfect way of bringing Sam and Dante together, right? But when are things ever that smooth on Soap Operas? What if, after Drew’s departure, another ex returns to PC? What if Lulu Spencer returns home?
Long-time viewers of General Hospital would remember that Lulu and Dante were happily married for a really long time on the soap. However, their happily ever after was cut short when Lulu collapsed due to a floating rib and slipped into a coma. Although, in true soap fashion, she reminds Dante of how much she loves him right before collapsing. Dante remained hung up on Lulu for a long time after she went into a coma. It took him a lot to get over Lulu and start a new relationship with Sam. But even though it seems like he may have moved on, but is that really true? Does anyone ever completely move on from an epic love like theirs? Maybe not. Maybe if she woke up and came back for him, all of his suppressed feelings for would come back!
But what would that mean for Sam and Dante? Will Dante choose Lulu over Sam? Lulu has been in a coma for a really long time, and General Hospital fans have been waiting with bated breaths for the day she finally comes out of the twilight.
