Port Charles’ Deputy Mayor, Eileen Ashby, was playing double agent at General Hospital. She turned on Victor when Anna bent her arm with a recorded confession. Eileen truly wasn’t left with any other choice but to join Anna and her gang in their quest to tear down Victor. Moreover, the deputy mayor acted rather gutsy and swiped a flash drive from Victor. However, Victor being the criminal mastermind that he is, had his suspicions about Eileen. Furthermore, the evil Cassadine instructed his lackeys to search Eileen.
This really put the fear of life in Eileen, and she made a full confession to Victor on General Hospital. She admitted to having betrayed him and even told him the truth about Valentin and Anna. Victor was livid to learn that his son played him for a fool and that they are all out to get him. In a fit of rage, Victor threw Eileen off the footbridge as punishment for betrayal. Victor probably thinks that Eileen will die due to the fall. But will she? We have seen characters survive far worse than that! Heck, they come back to life even after being declared dead by medical personnel. So one can never really be sure about whos really dead and whos not!
Will Sonny And Laura Become Eileen’s Saviors On General Hospital?
Just because Victor has thrown Eileen off the bridge doesn’t mean her death is promised on General Hospital. As we said, characters have survived far worse than that! A pregnant Esme Prince survived jumping off the Wyndemere Parapet into the cold dark waters. Nik is still alive, even if barely so, after Ava smashed his head and believed him to be dead. So there is no reason why Eileen can’t survive this fall. The latest General Hospital spoilers hint that Sonny and Laura will be at the pier when they make a shocking discovery.
Could it be that Port Charles Mayor, Laura Spencer, would spot her deputy floating in the water on General Hospital? If that happens, Sonny and Laura would waste no time in rushing Eileen to the hospital. Early first aid and treatment could catapult the chances of her survival on General Hospital.
