Drew came across Chloe Jennings, who was being held in the same prison against her will. All of this led to them making a plan that would take them out of the captivity. However, Drew noticed that Chloe wasn’t handcuffed. So, that gave him the advantage to work with her.
Soon after that, Drew started working on his plan. His first step was to get guards to trust Chloe. So, he gave her the pen he had stolen and asked her to pretend to rat him out. Even if Drew could have used the pen, he wouldn’t have gone very far with that idea. What Drew really needs at this point is a set of keys from the guards.
