Sonny was stunned when his family was attacked in his own home in Puerto Rico recently. General Hospital spoilers reveal that he has come to the stinging conclusion that whoever the shooter was, he was an inside man. After all, it’s really not a cakewalk to get through Sonny’s security and pull off the dangerous stunt undetected, like the shooter did. But something tells us that Sonny is going to be in for an even worse shock! When he comes face to face with Jason Morgan.
The Curious Case Of GH Shoot Outs
Okay, so by now, even the walls, roofs, and the grass outside know that Steve Burton is finally returning to GH as Jason Morgan. However, one thing that the makers are still keeping tight under the lid is his return story. Despite that, after diligently scrutinizing all the information in General Hospital spoilers, we may have figured out exactly how he returns.
The current storyline on the ABC soap is putting way too much emphasis on the shootings. The Metro Court one, as well as the recent one in Puerto Rico. We know both the shootouts were connected because the target was Sonny Corinthos all along and not Anna. Now, the makers brought in two characters as part of the story- Brenna and Jagger. All of that can’t be for just nothing. Hence, the investigation is certainly going to lead to a massive and shell-shocking discovery.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Returns With A Menacing Agenda
Previously, we theorized that makers could explain Jason’s absence for all this while by going down the captivity route. They may offer that after the cave incident in Crete, Greece, Jason was rescued but taken hostage by either Victor or Pikeman/ WSB. Considering that Victor, the easy target, is not around anymore, Pikeman/WSb will have to become the fall guy here. They may have been trying to reprogram or brainwash Jason all this while so as to use him as a weapon against Sonny.
Now, General Hospital spoilers recall that previously, it was believed that Jason couldn’t be brainwashed. But hey, the soap has found its way around bigger roadblocks. They could easily explain it away with a new serum or the latest technology. And since it was such a difficult task, that’s why it took so long! But now that he is finally brainwashed, his kidnappers unleashed him against Sonny.
This whole “cannot be brainwashed” angle may even serve well to explain why he kept missing the target. Perhaps the brainwashing didn’t go as well as the captors thought it did. Maybe Jason still knows the reality in his subconscious mind, and that’s why he just couldn’t bring himself to “actually” shoot Sonny dead! With that explanation in place, the only thing that remains to be seen is how Sonny reacts when he faces the truth about Jason attacking him.
