General Hospital: Happy 35th, Dear Chad Duell!
Our beloved General Hospital star, Chad Duell, was born on 14th September 1987, in Chicago, Illinois. Which means he just hit 35! He posted a snapshot of himself on his official Instagram account to mark the special day. The star is sitting on a parapet wall in the picture, overlooking the city lights! He has a big happy smile on his face, which is quite contagious, might we add! “Taking in AZ”, he captioned the image. Fans and loved ones alike quickly filled his comments section with heartfelt birthday wishes and blessings.
The General Hospital actor grew up attending Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. That is where during a theatre class, he developed an interest in performing acts. Later, fuelled by his passion for performing, he decided to leave for California to pursue a career in acting.
During his early years in Los Angeles, Chad scored two minor but recurring roles on Disney Channel. The first being Ronald Longcape Jr. on Wizards of Waverly Place, and the second, Holden on The Suite Life on Deck. Later, in 2010, Chad filled in Drew Garrett’s shoes in the role of General Hospital’s Michael Corinthos.
For his fantastic portrayal of the character, Chad Duell has earned five Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In 2015 he won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role in General Hospital.
