The two recently got married after dating one another for about five years. However, their marriage did not last long, and they decided to part ways only eight weeks after. While we all came to know about this, we never knew the real reason for this breakup. What was it?
Recently, General Hospital star Chad Duell opened up about what had happened. He appeared in Maurice Benard’s State of Mind Vlog and spoke about his separation. From what seems like his first and the last statement on this whole thing, Chad says that out of respect for Courtney, he will not talk a lot about all of that. But, he will say that Courtney is an amazing person, an amazing woman, and an amazing dog mom. He continued to say that theirs is a complicated situation, but it isn’t what everyone thinks. He further added that he would not go into the details, but he wants everyone to know that it isn’t what they think.
Ever since Courtney and Chad had started dating, they had been an “it” couple. Everyone loved them and wanted more of them. However, when the news about them splitting came out, everyone was heartbroken.
To console all the fans, the actor also said that there isn’t anything terrible that has happened. It wasn’t because someone did something to the other person. He revealed that the two of them are still on good terms and thinks that Courtney is a good person in many ways. The actor just had positive things to say for his ex-wife. He clarified that ending their relationship was a mutual thing.
Shocking us and everyone along, the actor even revealed that he and Courtney were never really married. He said that they didn’t actually sign anything. They were never really married or anything. Everything between them was amicable and just like that. That is all that he can say. And they just want the best for each other.
While we do hope they would have lasted longer, we are happy that they are happy. Both these actors are right now at the peak of their storylines on their respective soaps.
