General Hospital fans know that our beloved Jacklyn Zeman passed earlier this year in 2023. Thus, the story of the ABC soap eventually had to reach a point where they would have to explain her permanent absence from the soap. Jacklyn has played the role of Bobbie Spencer for years and holds a special place her fans’ hearts. As she does in her fellow characters’ hearts too on the canvas of Port Charles. The latest General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly confides in Joss that Bobbie will be stuck in Amsterdam for longer than previously anticipated. As it turns out, Bobbie is hitting road blocks after road blocks while trying to settle things there. Joss then informs Carly that Tracy too has been making trips to Amsterdam. It seems that both Bobbie and Tracy are clashing over how to settle Luke Spencer’s final terms. The ladies are unable to reach common grounds as both of them have contrasting opinions about what Luke would really want.
Tracy Brings Grim News to PC on General Hospital
According to the spoilers, Tracy returns to Port Charles with some news by the end of the week. There is a legit possibility that this news could be rather grim. With Jacklyn crossing over to the other side, Bobbie cannot be brought back to screen in person. Especially, since the makers do not intent to recast the iconic role. Moreover, the Amsterdam situation is only temporary. There is only so far that the makers can stretch. Eventually, the absence has to be addressed.
In fact, earlier this year, some sources had revealed to the media that the soap will pay homage to Jacklyn Zeman through Bobbie. That sounds a lot like a memorial. So it would make sense if Tracy relays the sad news of Bobbie’s passing in Amsterdam. It could be an unfortunate accident, or a health emergency that eventually turned fatal. The latest spoilers reveal that many characters, including – Scott Baldwin, Lucy Coe and Tracy will reflect on past memories and reminisce their time with Bobbie.
Honestly, it would break our hearts to watch it all play out on the screen. But some things are truly inevitable and even the bets of writers can’t change that narrative.
