Amid all this, the Little People Big World couple talked about Jackson’s second surgery, which they decided to keep under wraps.
Zach and Tori confirmed that it was because of Jackson’s will that they didn’t share about his surgery with the world. They further made some shocking revelations and talked about how their son wants to live out of the limelight.
LPBW: Jackson Asked Zach & Tori To Not Film His Surgery
LPBW fans saw Jackson’s first surgery on screen. It was a painful moment as viewers couldn’t watch their favorite little Roloff going under the knife. The celeb dealt with it like a champ, and they were waiting for the results of it. However, Tori recently revealed that they shared their son’s surgery on screen without his consent.
Tori admitted in her podcast, “He didn’t consent to it.” She continued, “We decided to share it.” But soon, the matriarch found out that Jackson would have to go for another surgery. Tori explained that the latter ended up breaking a screw in his leg, and he had to go for surgical repairs. But this time, Jackson was firm he didn’t want cameras around him at any cost.
Jackson begged Tori and Zach not to call the “filmers.” Apparently, he called the camera crew as filmers and was sure that he didn’t want them in the hospital or at his home after he came back. Though Zach felt that Jackson’s surgery would have raised the ratings of LPBW, he decided to respect his son’s will.
Zach explained in his latest podcast’s edition that they weren’t able to say “no” to Jackson. He feels that this isn’t a burden on his kids, and the couple agreed to keep this news under wraps.
LPBW: Are Tori & Zach Leaving The Franchise For Jackson’s Sake?
Zach and Tori have made it clear that they won’t be a part of LPBW now. They have officially made this announcement, and there is no going back. Even during their recent podcast episode, Tori discussed how Jackson was the reason behind this decision. She revealed that her son began voicing his opinion as he didn’t want to film anymore.
As per Tori, Jackson made it clear that he wanted to stay away from this filming stuff. That is why he didn’t even allow his second surgery to become a part of the ongoing season. Hence, the matriarch ended up taking this to heart. Tori stated that her son was a “huge” reason behind their decision to stop filming for the show.
Zach then added that it was perhaps “one of the reasons.” He believes that all this isn’t their kids’ burden. That is why the couple had thoughts about sharing their children’s lives on screen and came to the conclusion that they were better off without their family show.
