The LPBW patriach Matt Roloff and his girlfriend Caryn Candler are enjoying their long holiday in Arizona. And as we all know, he has purchased a house back there. After Matt lost his father last year, his mother was left alone. Hence, Matt wanted to spend more of his time with her. And therefore, he’s been living in his house in Arizona to be closer to his mother. However, he has not yet confirmed if this is a permanent stay or not. Well, previously, it was just a back-and-forth stay, but now his visit has been pretty long. The Little People Big World star went to Arizona before the Christmas holiday, and in that course, he did not celebrate Christmas or new year with his family.
However, fans speculate that Matt is ignoring his children amid the farm feud and has decided to permanently reside without informing his kids. As a result, he even missed his grandkid’s birthday party. Whose birthday did he miss and why? Let’s find out.
LPBW: Matt Roloff Explains Why He Missed His Grandkid’s Birthday Blast
The LPBW star Matt Roloff missed his grandkid’s birthday party. On January 8, Matt posted pictures and revealed why he missed his grandkid’s birthday. In his post, he added photos of a Roloff farm sign, stunning sunset of Arizona, and himself swimming shirtless. Along with pictures, Matt explained his absence, claiming that he was having fun enjoying a “longer winter stay” with his newly widowed mother, Huny, in Arizona. He wrote that he and his girlfriend had their first couple of swims in 2023. Sharing the good news, the Little People Big World star said that he frequently gets to see his mother and has coffee often.
But the “bad news” was that Matt would miss out on some crucial occasions back in Oregon. He then admits that he missed Jeremy and Audrey’s son Bode’s 3rd birthday party. Although he did have a facetime with Jeremy the morning, and that felt like he was right there with him. Although Matt explained about his absence, some LPBW fans brought him on fire. Fans felt that he favored one child over another and wouldn’t have missed the special occasion if it would have been someone else’s. Others piled on, accusing him of being selfish and urging him to “do the right thing for your kids.” But the majority of other remarks sided with Matt Roloff.
Taking Matt’s side, one said that he did the right thing, as spending time with his mother was the most important thing after she lost her husband. They said it’s “hard to please everyone” and that he has years left with his grandchildren, but his mum, who is 80, is not in that position. However, talking about Bode’s birthday party, LPBW stars Jeremy and Audrey celebrated their son’s big day on January 8. According to their Instagram account, the pair seems to have a blast.
LPBW: Audrey & Jeremy Celebrate Their Son’s 3rd Birthday
Bode James was born to Audrey and Jeremy Roloff on January 8, 2020. The little child followed older sister Ember Jean. Bode turned three years old on Sunday, January 8, and Audrey had Jeremy had a bash over the weekend. The mother of three shared a lot of videos and photos of the celebration. Audrey and Jeremy went all out for their son’s special day, even spending extra money on a cupcake cake that was made to resemble a cow. Before giving them to the party guests, Audrey showed a clip of the delicious surprise in the box. “Cow cupcakes as requested by our guy,” she remarked alongside the video.
The former TLC star also shared a sweet photo of Bode and Ember, his 5-year-old sister. It featured a black and white balloon-encircled birthday boy while he playing with one of the gifts. Ember whispered quietly in her brother’s ear while wearing a white pajama set with cherries on it. Audrey said in her post, “Ember singing happy birthday in his ear,” even though the action could hardly be made out in the video. Audrey gave an explanation of the cow-themed extravaganza, stating that the 3-year-old had constantly asked for it. She posted a picture of Bode sitting beneath a huge balloon arch in black and white and a gold balloon with the number three. His cupcake cake and a banner that said “Holy cow Bode is three” were placed next to him. Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for further updates.
