LPBW: Zach’s Actual Bid Was Good Enough! Matt Rejected The Offer To Save The Farm For Jacob?

TLC: ZACH & MATT ROLOFF

Zach and Matt Roloff have taken center stage since their farm fight came into the limelight. The Little People Big World stars once used to be quite close as a father-son duo. However, they are no longer that way since Zach tried to buy off a part of Roloff Farms. While they had a lot of differences during the negotiation meeting, Matt mentioned that they couldn’t agree on a price. Since then, the LPBW viewers have been curious about the offer price as well as the negotiation price. Well, the latest episode shed some light on this matter again. It turns out that the estimation of Zach’s price is out. Keep reading to know more details about this.

LPBW: Matt Didn’t Agree On Zach’s Negotiated Farm Price! How Much Was It?

Matt and Zach Roloff had a major falling out at the beginning of Little People Big World Season 23. It turns out they continue to fight in the current season, too, i.e., Season 24. Both of them had very different ideas about the future of Roloff Farms. They had a falling out because of the price of the same. Matt’s ex-wife, Amy, had also called her ex off for setting a price that was out of their kids’ budget. Since then, fans have been curious to know about the pricing. At first, the farm’s north side belonged to Amy. She sold it back to Matt after their divorce. The LPBW matriarch did so while under the impression that her ex would sell it back to his kids. Hence, Matt bought that part of the farm back from Amy for $975,000.

TLC: MATT ROLOFF ALONGSIDE HIS SON, ZACH

As per Zach’s confessionals, he attempted to offer his father a price close to his buying amount from Amy. However, the patriarch set the price too high. He has mentioned that he gave his kids “half-off” and a “family discount”. Considering that the 16 acres of the farm were up for sale on the market for $4 million, it is possible that Matt wanted his son to spend $2 million to buy the farm from him. As mentioned above, this price range was above the LPBW couple, Zach and Tori’s, budget. He previously talked about offering a price closer to the one Matt paid off to Amy. As per Cheatsheet, it can be estimated that Zach wanted to buy a part of Roloff Farms from his father for $1.6 million. That’s where the trouble began.

Since Zach’s offer was deemed good enough, fans wonder why Matt rejected it. Some think that it was solely the LPBW patriarch’s greed that made him do that. However, there are also people who blame Caryn for creating all this drama. While TLC is also suspected of scripting this storyline for fame, viewers have found another reason why Matt possibly refused to sell to Zach. A fan theory suggests that it was Jacob that was to inherit the property, as per the Roloff family head. As of now, it’s only the youngest son that he is allowed to live on the farm. However, all of these are just theories, and it’s quite hard to verify them at the moment.

LPBW: Matt & Zach Reveal The Current Status Of Their Strained Relationship

It turns out that the latest LPBW season was filmed a few months ago. Hence, a lot of time has passed since the incidents fans are seeing on TV. The avid fans want Matt and Zach to look past their differences and mend things. Well, both the father-son duo gave an interview together to talk about their reality show and bond. Matt mentioned that he talked to Zach every single day, and both of them had also started to prepare for his father, Ron Roloff’s memorial. Grandpa Ron passed away in August 2022. Hence, fans were happy after finding out there was scope for the father-son reconciliation.

However, Zach Roloff’s response to the same question threw everyone off guard. Without explaining much about his bond with Matt, he said things have been “unfortunate”. Hence, it became clear to the fans that Matt and Zach still don’t see eye to eye with one another. There was still trouble between them. While Matt was focussing on the positive, hoping things would get better between them, he soon refused to talk much about the incident. So, fans feel this means Zach is still bitter about the farm feud. Do you think Matt and Zach will return to being on good terms as time passes? Tell us in the comments below.
