He told his daughter that he wished she would have left something of his wife’s in the closet. Because Whitney was willing to get rid of her late mother’s belongings so quickly in the show, viewers began calling her a psychopath. They were alarmed as to how someone gave away their mothers’ priced possessions so instantly.

This incident really led to fans unleashing their fury on Whitney. They argued that the star should be saving and preserving such possessions instead of letting her friends wear it. Many found the scene to be highly problematic and disrespectful to Babs who had recently passed away.
