The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are under scrutiny by many critics following a warning letter. They received the letter from the State of California Dept of Justice over the registration process. Furthermore, it included a ‘delinquency notice’ to the Archewell Foundation.
Delinquent charities in the US are ordered to stop fundraising, it can also raise penalties. They can also have their registrations suspended or revoked. As for the current situation, US authorities have announced that the organisation is current and in good standing with charities.
Meghan Markle and Harry’s spokesman also released a statement mentioning that all the registration documents were submitted on time. However, a cheque that was sent wasn’t received. On the matter, Daily Mail columnist Richard Eden spoke to the outlet’s Palace Confidential podcast and issued a one-word warning.
He said that the charity needs to get a ‘grip’ and added that the couple is not very well organised. The editor further explained that Meghan and Harry both come from a place where everything was done for them. However, now that they’re with the Royal family, they need to take care of everything themselves and it involves a lot of admin work.

As soon as she started, Markle sent several jars of strawberry jam to her 50 friends and a few influencers to taste. The actress highlighted exclusivity by handwriting each number on the jars from one to 50.
According to a royal expert, Tom Quinn, Meghan Markle thinks that she is being unfairly criticised for the jam. While speaking to the Mirror, he said, ‘Like her husband, she feels that people are unfairly picking on her. Quinn also added that she is ‘extremely sensitive’ about any criticism of her luxurious lifestyle in the US.
Meghan is all set to start a PR blitz for her new brand, which will launch properly later this year. The female entrepreneur wants to gain some new followers and appear on a few chat shows. According to reports, the Duchess might also give interviews to specially selected journalists in the coming months.
