OutDaughtered Season 9 premiere episode revealed a lot about the Busby family! These include all the changes that have occurred in the family over the past couple of years when the Busbys were on break. This episode showed that all Busby girls, especially Blayke Busby, have grown up. She is now a 12-year-old middle schooler whose behavior has changed drastically. OutDaughtered: Fans Worried About Pre-teen Blayke’s Tantrums!
The premiere episode of OutDaughtered Season 9 was nothing but a complete package filled with chaos, fun, and deep conversations. In this episode, Danielle asked Blayke, “How are we on the boy level? Any cute boys?” Then Blayke blushed and said she didn’t know. She added there are no cute boys at her school. She made her Mama aware of the honey hopper concept. As she told Danielle that McKenna called “Brody” a player and that he was a honey hopper. The Busby didn’t know what it was, so she asked.
Blayke continued explaining that they would date one girl and then hop to another girl a week later and continue following this loop. Intrigued by the explanation, Danielle asked Adam if he was a honey hopper. To this, he responded that he is unaware of what it means. During a confessional in this episode, Danielle also stated that Blayke was in grade 6 and that being a middle schooler was a completely different experience for her. She even added that her eldest daughter prefers hanging out with her school friends and does not consider home fun anymore.
After watching the OutDaughtered Season 9 premiere, several fans expressed that they felt the need for Adam and Danielle to keep a hold on their eldest daughter’s attitude. One of the fans tweeted a suggestion for the Busby mom to stop Blayke as they didn’t like her attitude during their conversation. Similarly, another fan expressed his concern that her teen attitude makes them fear quints attitude when they reach her age. While several other fans slammed Blayke and suggested, she grow up because she was not setting the right example for her baby sisters.

Mama Busby loves all her daughters dearly! But in 2022, Danielle expressed her fear of managing her quints in their teenage as she was already dealing with her pre-teen daughter Blayke. It is no doubt that teenage girls are slightly difficult to understand because of their mood swings and tantrums. Thus, Mama Busby took to Instagram to share her selfie while in the car. Danielle added the text to this story. It claimed that no one warned her about the time when her daughter would be a middle schooler.
The Busby family matriarch then continued how she has to drop her and provide for her everywhere she went. And besides all this, when she comes to pick her up, her 12-year-old tells her that she is going with a friend to hang out. After facing this, Danielle expressed her fear of how she’ll manage when this will multiply five times when quints will enter this phase.
