After her divorce from her ex-husband, Thomas, also known as Tom Girardi, she was lost for a while, but she eventually restored her lifestyle. She revamped her fashion and aura.
Erika has the full capacity to be patient throughout her legal woes involving her former lawyer. Despite growing tension, her house has become a very Hollywood sanctuary, thanks to her 1920s-style renovation. She called it her “little Spanish bungalow,” drawing inspiration for the renovations from the renowned interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard.
RHOBH: Erika’s Ex Thomas Gets 7-Year Prison Sentence!
Thomas Girardi has been sentenced to seven years and three months in prison after being found guilty of wire fraud. NBC News officially covered the conviction from day one. The court has ordered the 83-year-old to pay a fine of over $2 million as compensation for the damages done to the victims. Last December, federal prosecutors submitted a sentencing memo to request a fourteen-year prison sentence.
According to Reuters, the prosecutors took into account the expelled attorney’s advanced age and his hearing difficulties. Yet, he argued that he should be awarded a notable custodial sentence in a federal prison facility. In August, US Weekly revealed that his ex-wife Erika had four counts of fraud on her head. Tom wore his celebrity status for a long time to lure victims with his false promises.
RHOBH: Mike Supports Erika In Her Career!
Mike Minden is a great friend to Erika, who also serves as her creative director. He has always been by her side, offering her the best career advice. The two have collaborated on music videos, projects, and performances. Since her “Bet It On Blond” had low ticket sales, fans thought that it might have affected their bonding.
While Erika and Mike might be on rocky terms, they are still working together. Their decade-long partnership led the Bravo star to say that his standards are pretty high. She is grateful to him for making her last show a success, and without his idea, it would have ended in disaster. Furthermore, she revealed that he was angry with her.
“It puts tension where we’ve never had tension before, but it’s not out of him being spiteful,” Erika explained. To her, it’s felt like Mike always wants the best out of her and nothing else. After having a brew of strained friendship, they are back to work again. The Vegas resident has complete trust in him.
Erika recently made Mike sign for her next Mighty Hoopla in London. The event will have him in the role of the creative director. He is also on board for The Masked Singer, where Erika will perform.
