The California State Bar is not lenient in treating the stars. And that’s how justice prevails. The high-profile drama involving Tom Girardi, who stole millions from his creditors, is getting out of hand. The judge has asked the officials to obtain anything, including Girardi’s assets, to pay back the creditors. Similarly, Girardi will have to pay $2M to four kids of the Lion Air Flight plane crash. Therefore, the authorities will capture anything that assists Tom’s assets. Likewise, tension has circled Erika Jayne again as the RHOBH is also accused of laundering money for her lavish lifestyle.
Flashback to 2007, Tom gifted $750 diamond earrings to his wife, Erika. However, who knew those earrings one day would get questioned. The trustees now want the diamond earrings from the Real Housewives star as they claim that Girardi bought the earrings from the client’s money. But, Jayne isn’t willing to turn over the jewelry piece. The Bravo star has appealed to the judge that she is an innocent spouse. Hence, she had no clue about her husband’s misleading financial deeds. Therefore, Jayne wants the judge to dismiss the case.
Erika also chimed about her current financial situation. She revealed that her assets include her personal belongings and the paycheck from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Likewise, another way for her to get income is her doing endorsements and related appearances. Then, the reality celeb revealed her tax issues. In late May 2022, California Franchise Tax Board [(FTP) sent a notice bill to her manager. The bill states that Jayne owes $2,226,985.77 in taxes for the tax year 2019. RHOBH: Tom Girardi’s EX-Wife Wants Him To Pay $245K As Alimony!
Amid the tax and money laundering issues, Tom Girardi is again at the arrow’s edge. The case of money laundering is going on, and Tom has to pay a hefty amount. Meanwhile, his ex-wife Karen has come forward to share that Tom hasn’t paid her the spousal support for a long time. Radaronline reports that the court ordered Tom to pay $10K in alimony. However, Girardi has failed to pay the alimony. Similarly, at the time of separation, Karen demanded a lien of $10M against the Pasadena mansion.
More so, in 2020, Karen went to court when her ex-husband started missing the payments. However, Tom tried to talk her out of the deal. Girardi stated that he is tired of paying the amounts. Hence, he wanted to deduce the monthly alimony from $10K to $5K. Yet, Jayne’s husband hasn’t paid that amount also. And now, the ex-wife wants to update the line to $245K.
