Christine and Kody locked horns in the latest installment of their popular show, Sister Wives. While the former made up their mind about leaving the plural marriage and separating from her husband, he wasn’t willing to let her go. Kody tried his best to keep that from happening. He also got furious after realizing his ex-wife will take away their 11-year-old daughter Truely to Utah with her instead of living in Flagstaff.
So, the polygamist was hell-bent on not letting Truely go either. He insisted on keeping a room for her in Robyn’s house in Flagstaff, so she could visit and spend time with the plural family. Kody Brown has a reputation for “manipulating” the truth to get his own way. Well, he did this again in the latest season of Sister Wives. The Sister Wives star was unwilling to let his former wife, Christine take their daughter to Utah. Kody tried to scare her by saying Arizona would have custody of their daughter if she splits with him. But the mother of six saw through his lies and went to Utah with Truely anyway. Yet, in order to salvage his relationship with Truely, he declared keeping room for her in Robyn’s house in Flagstaff, where he permanently lives now.
But, Sister Wives fans were too quick to realize Kody is not a man of his word. They stated that the notorious castmate had no screentime with Christine’s daughter. They found this odd, as he insisted on growing close to her again. But the audience has seen Kody upset many of his kids on the show. For instance, he insisted on kicking Janelle’s sons Garrison and Gabe out of the house. It is apparent that Kody only likes maintaining a bond with his kids of tender age and ignores them when they turn adults.
Many fans stated that Kody was only “using” Truely as a “bargaining chip.” He was doing so to keep her and Christine from moving away. Well, she didn’t serve the purpose. So as per speculations, Kody has not kept his word and left Truely a room in Robyn’s residence! Meanwhile, it’s likely that Christine doesn’t let Kody visit their daughter anymore. Now that her boyfriend David Woolley is also in the picture, Kody’s interaction with the kids might have become even more awkward. Kody Brown went to massive lengths to save his marriage with Christine by using lots of questionable methods. He stated that a separated couple needs to have a “Child Custody Agreement,” or else the state of Arizona will have their child’s custody. Christine stayed her ground and didn’t understand why the former had to undergo so much hassle. Kody wasn’t even admitting to lying to Christine. Instead, he stated that he got “creative” with his words.
Christine Brown talked about Kody not being able to spend time with their kids was also a part of the problem in their marriage. But, he talked about changing his ways for their 11-year-old daughter Truely. It made his ex-wife happy, but she was not 100 percent convinced.
