Sister Wives star Gwendlyn Brown is someone who never hesitates to talk about her family openly. She runs several accounts on social media and often spills tea about them. Amid all this, recently, the celeb spoke about the concept of spirit babies and made some shocking revelations regarding her family’s beliefs.
Gwen revealed how it is related to her sister Aspyn having a potential spirit baby in the future. But how? What is this concept of spirit babies all about? How is it related to Christine’s elder daughter?
Sister Wives: Gwen Reveals How Aspyn Will Have A Potential Spirit Baby
The show Sister Wives featured the clan of Browns who follow the Mormon culture and Apostolic United Brethren. They had some rigid rules and beliefs to which the entire family used to abide. Apparently, one of them was the concept of “spirit babies.” Recently, Gwen threw some light on the same while she was reviewing her family show on YouTube.
Gwen stated that Christine had a miscarriage before giving birth to her youngest daughter, Truely. So, they believe that the miscarried baby was actually spiritually intended to be born in her oldest kid, Aspen’s family. Gwen explained in brief that the baby’s spirit was perhaps meant for someone else in the family.
Gwen even joked about taking the spirit as her own child. However, she admitted that it was not even possible. Recently, a famous blogger named Katie Joy also shared the clip and explained the concept and beliefs of Mormons regarding spirit babies in detail.
The source explained that, as per Mormons, “every spirit contracts with a family.” So, if a baby’s spirit is miscarried, it would again return to the family in some form or the other. Hence, that is the reason why the Browns believe that Christine’s Angel baby would perhaps return to their clan in the form of Aspyn’s child.
Sister Wives: Gwen Wonders Why Aspyn Doesn’t Want To Have A Child Yet!
Christine and Kody’s daughter Aspyn walked down the aisle with David Mitchell Thompson in 2018. She has been living the best of her life since then, and there are no clues about her plans to have a child till now. The Sister Wives couple is solely focusing on exploring the world and expanding their career. Hence, Gwen wondered why her elder sister would even consider having a child now.
Gwen explained that Aspyn had raised them. So, she isn’t able to understand why the latter would think of having a baby as she had been a mom to her younger siblings for years. Apparently, Christine was a working woman while she had six kids. Aspyn was the eldest among them all and acted as a motherly figure to her brothers and sisters.
Apparently, Kody wasn’t really involved in the upbringing of most of his adult kids. So, everything came down to just Christine and her children. Hence, Aspyn ended up playing a huge role in raising her siblings.
