It was him and her at the very beginning. Kody, on the other hand, stated that he and his first wife “don’t interact” that much anymore. As per him, Meri came to the Sister Wives patriarch with the “burden” of what to do about her mother’s heritage in after passing, and he merely gave a “solution”.
