Although Meri Brown is Kody’s first wife, there has always been trouble in paradise for the couple. In fact, all the die-hard Sister Wives viewers must know by now that they are nothing but “friends” despite being in a spiritual marriage. As a result, the couple had a heart-to-heart conversation with the host Sukanya Krishnan about where their relationship stands. Apparently, both of them have been together for 31 years but lacked intimacy for over a “decade”. Therefore, Sukanya wanted to know if things would change in the future.
It turns out Kody Brown said things would have been different if they were in a monogamous relationship. But, TV Season & Spoilers reports that he claimed their “dynamics” changed once they got into a plural marriage. Therefore, he said things “honestly” and not in a “cruel” manner in the special episode. However, the polygamist believes he seeks only “friendship”. Hence he doesn’t want his first wife to “kick rocks” down the road and maintains the “best kind of relationship” while telling her to stay in the family. So, the family p atriarch concluded by saying they can “work this out”.
Sister Wives: Meri Continues To Be Loyal To Kody After No Intimacy For 10 Years!
As per the abovementioned statement, it seems like the family head has made it clear that he only wants a platonic bond with Meri. Yet she is still holding out “hope”. During her time with the host, the wife talked of missing “intimacy” both of the “physical” and “emotional” kinds. Moreover, the first sister wife also wants to do little things like “hold hands”. However, she made the revelation of not being in that stage now as they have lacked “physicality”. In fact, things have been this way for over ten years! Even after this, the cast member has “hope” and commits to him while making a “choice”.
When asked why the TV star made the claim of being “emotionally invested,”. That’s because she “loves” her husband. Furthermore, it is “God” that guides her through “life”. In fact, Meri feels a sense of “peace” when she stays with the “family,” and it also feels “right”. Yet Kody Brown emphasized feeling “emotional torture” when he was involved with his first wife.
