Kendra And Matt Get Closer On Suddenly Amish, Until Emma Arrives

Matt makes a shocking return to the Lancaster Amish community. Amidst a rush of emotions, Kendra admits to having a crush on him. The Suddenly Amish stars definitely feel the spark between them. A recent clip shows them sitting by a riverside, having a picnic. It’s a date. This is the closest fans have seen to a date on the show. They are not physically close, but it seems like having a good conversation. Everything seems to be going fine until Emma arrives.

Emma lectures Kendra and Matt that they need to be at least one arm’s length apart. Emma’s arrival throws a wet blanket on the date/picnic. She even picks up a stick and tries to stick it between Kendra and Matt to keep a distance. In the confessional, Emma shares how monitored dating in the Amish is. However, Matt and Kendra aren’t about to let a young girl like Emma tell them what to do. So instead, they hold hands and go swimming in the river.

In a recent Suddenly Amish clip, night vision footage shows Kendra willing to defy the set Amish rules. Until the latest episode, Matt’s return caused quite a stir. He was evicted for being a divorced fella. Kendra was overjoyed with the return. They even go for a secluded picnic by a waterspot. Now, Kendra informs Bille Joe that Matt and James argued and Matt won’t be staying in the community. He will go to a hotel to stay, and Kendra will go with him.

Kendra’s decision to sneak out of the community does not sit well with Bille Joe. Bille Joe reminds Kendra that this community is what she wanted to be a part of. So following its rules is also a part of the decision. She calls out Kendra for acting entitled and ignoring the rules. She reminds Kendra that if she wants to be a part of the community, she has to learn to follow the rules and actually be a part of it.
