David was arrested last year in November for violating a restraining order for domestic violence and thereby trespassing on Jenelle’s property in North Carolina. Former Teen Mom star David Eason attended another court hearing on December 10, 2024, one month after his infamous arrest. The judge ordered him to wear an ankle monitor for the next hearing, which was set for January 28, 2025. The hearing addressed his reported violation and trespassing of his estranged wife’s property.
David broke the court order by trying to take his motorcycles and other stuff from Jenelle’s North Carolina home. InTouch Weekly reported that the judge was mad at him. So, the judge ordered an ankle monitor for Jenelle to track him via GPS. The insider informed InTouch that the court decided this based on her best interests. She will know whether he is three miles from her property and from anywhere she is.

Former Teen Mom celeb David Eason finally had his attorney with him to fight his ex-wife, Jenelle Evans, in divorce court. According to The Ashley, the co-parents are about to clash again fiercely in North Carolina court in February over their child’s custody and support. The judge will also distribute their mutual properties and do some more.
After buying time from the court in the last hearing, David shocked everyone by hiring a lawyer. His legal representative will now battle on his behalf. It’s unknown whether Jenelle’s lawyer, Brandon Pettijohn, who was retained from TikTok, has already heard the opposition’s latest move.
According to recent court records obtained by The Ashley, David has possibly recruited a Wilmington, North Carolina-based lawyer named Louis Smith. He has tried hard to find a reasonable attorney in the last few months, but it hasn’t gone well. Although there are no online reviews on the lawyer, it seems he has practiced law for over a decade.
It’s also yet to know how David can afford Louis since he claimed to be bankrupt in an Affidavit of Indigency in May 2024. His bank accounts only had $106 in total during that time, making him unable to get a defense lawyer. Back in 2023, he couldn’t fight his criminal case of throttling Jenelle’s 15-year-old son, Jace.
