Recently, the reality star met a lawyer who told her that she and Josh are not legally divorced. This revelation surprised her. Even more, because she recently got engaged to Khesanio Hall. The duo is planning a future together. Mackenzie told the attorney that she believed she had legally divorced for about a year and a half.
At the time, she was not doing financially well, so she drew whatever she could find online. They both signed it, and they didn’t go to court. Then they have not lived together and are sharing paternity as per the agreement they drew up. MacKenzie complained that Josh doesn’t even pay child support, and he doesn’t even provide transportation. He never helped around or did anything for the kids. Then she started dating Hall in 2022, and he picked up all the pieces and helped her raise the kids.
Mackenzie asks the lawyer if, in the event that something happens to her, the kids will go to their birth father or the one who was taking care of them. The attorney tells her that it’s always the father who is next in line for custody. The star then says that taking care of the kids for two weeks is not custody; it’s just a vacation.
