She was “silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation.”

However, due to “fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming,” she chose to keep her suffering under wraps. Now that Mortensen tried to tarnish her reputation, she won’t be holding back from revealing the whole truth to protect her children. Moreover, her rep accused Mortensen of failing to prioritize their son’s welfare while deflecting attention from his own transgressions through this destructive campaign against Taylor.

Taylor and Dakota’s 2023 DV case is already under review by the Draper City prosecutor. The investigation is additionally ongoing. She is already on probation till August 2026.

“It’s a third-degree felony here in Utah, and she could be facing up to five years in prison should that happen,” the legal practitioner entailed. He further explained that if she didn’t adhere to the terms of her plea deal, the court could actually convict her as a felon, and she could face serious jail time.
