Hilaria has a way with words, and now the new star from The Baldwins is an author. She recently wrote a book, Manual Not Included. In the book, she shared all the details of her personal life. From her lowest phases to her happiest highs. In the same book, she also discussed about the infamous Rust tragedy. Although the court dismissed the case in April 2023, Hilaria revealed that Alec had to go through suffering for years after the incident.
She explained that his hands would become cold, and he could barely walk. She had to bring him to the emergency room. The doctor checked him and told her that he was under extreme stress. He had also stopped eating and drinking, and it seemed like his body was shutting down. Sadly, he was not even trying to fight back. A few days after doctors discharged him, his condition worsened again.
Hilaria further added that the nannies called her and told her Alec’s health was deteriorating. She was running a school errand with her children when she rushed back. She found him shaking and unable to stand up. This time, he initially resisted medical help, but she forced him to go to the hospital. When they arrived there, things took a frightening turn as he lost his vision and slumped over.
Alec was not responsive. Hilaria felt like vomiting from feeling helpless. She was heartbroken and could not understand how to help her husband. Alec spent weeks in the hospital and could only walk with the assistance of a walker. Eventually, he got better and even went back to shooting.
