The Bold And The Beautiful: You never really know what is coming up for you. You can be planning a great day coming forward, but things change very quickly. At least, that is what happened with our favorite- Katherine Kelly Lang.
This mother’s day weekend, Kelly had planned fun activities with her friends, but fate had some other plans. As it turns out, Kelly met with an accident and had to undergo surgery. Is she okay? Here is what the actress has to say about it.
The Bold and the Beautiful star took onto her Instagram to tell her fans that she met a terrible accident that landed her in the hospital. She revealed that a day before Mothers Day, Kelly started out on a beautiful ride with her friends. They planned to do a 40 miles training for their upcoming 50-mile horse race that will happen in June.
She explained that it was a beautiful day. Sixteen miles into the training, she got off her horse to take a walk down a steep and rocky trail to take a break. While she was at it, she tripped on a rock, and her left foot took the fall. It was pounding, and she ended up dislocating it.
She was grateful that all of this happened by a road, so a nice stranger called 911, and she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Later on, the actress underwent surgery. She has broken 3 of the bones in her ankle and has been asked not to put any weight on her foot for the next six weeks.
Continuing, she revealed that she would return to work by the end of the week and heal quickly. She wants to do things that she loves. However, given how badly she is injured, The Bold and the Beautiful viewers might get to see some changes in the story. Kelly will temporarily exit till she is in the state to return.
As soon as the actress posted this update, her co-stars and fans started sending her good wishes. Her on-screen rival Krista Allen (Taylor) reacted to the post, and it looked like she understood the pain. She then told Kelly that she was a text away. Jennifer Gareis, who played the character of Donna on the soap, asked Kelly to rest up. She sent her best wishes and hoped she would recover quickly.
While we will miss Kelly on screen, we do hope she takes time to rest and recover quickly. Brooke is the front and center of several storylines on The Bold And The Beautiful. So, we will have to wait to see how B&B adjusts to this new roadblock. We send Kelly our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
