Brooke Logan has embarked on a journey to rediscover herself on The Bold and The Beautiful. Shockingly, she turned down Ridge when he turned up at her doorstep, begging her to take him back. Moreover, she swore off him until the indecisive dressmaker learns to take decisions and, importantly, stick to those decisions. Especially when they pertain to matters of the heart. In his absence, Brooke and Taylor’s friendship has been thriving. In the latest show of their affinity, Taylor encouraged Brooke to accept a date that hottie Hollis offered. But can this dishy romance with the younger man survive? Or will Brooke be better off with someone else?
Are Brooke and Hollis Already Toast?
Currently, Brooke is all about self-discovery, self-growth, and self-love, on The Bold and The Beautiful. As she rightly should be, for years, she has weaved her life around Ridge, and in the process, she has lost her own authenticity. When she and Taylor joined forces to send Ridge on a soul-searching mission, it also gave Brooke a chance for some introspection. It made her see all the changes that she needed to make in her life and decided to get on them on the double. A new romance was nowhere on her list. However, life does not happen according to the lists we make.
One fine day, Life threw a young and handsome wrench in Brooke’s life plan on The Bold and The Beautiful. When Hollis the wrench asked Brooke out on a date, she took her time to respond. The former Brooke would be all in for a “good time”, but the new Brooke wants to slow down. Even after going on the date and having a rich time, Brooke pulled the plug on their “post-dinner” plans and came back home to Taylor. She confessed that while she really did enjoy the date and the fiery kiss, her heart just wasn’t in it. The way Brooke bolted made it quite clear that Hollis has no future chasing her. Hot or not, he is not the man for her. But, the way Brooke and Taylor touched each other’s faces, we wonder if Brooke even wants a man anymore.
Is The Bold And The Beautiful About To Rewrite History With Brooke And Taylor?
After cutting her date short on The Bold and The Beautiful, Brooke rushed back home. Soon after, Taylor came looking for her and found out that her date with Hollis had flat-lined. Brooke poured her heart to Taylor about how she just couldn’t bring herself to “get on” with Hollis. Taylor confronted her with her words… and then… they went on to affectionately hold each other’s faces in their hands. Their faces to close, that we were on the edge of our seats, thinking they would lean in for a kiss at any second.
There has been so much talk about Brooke and Taylor becoming a couple on The Bold and The Beautiful. But until now, there was no actual evidence that could put them into each other’s orbit in that sense. But the way they caressed each other’s faces, sparks were flying left, right, and center. We can’t help but wonder if B&B is about to rewrite history with them.
There are many soaps that have same-sex couples on the forefront, but The Bold and The Beautiful is yet to take that leap.
