The fourth season took a long time to return due to the ongoing crisis, and even the upcoming season will land later than its past seasons. But we’re glad to say that The Handmaids Tale Season 4 will air next week on April 28 on Hulu. Further, the fourth season will mark Elisabeth Moss‘s debut in direction, as she directed three upcoming season episodes.
The Handmaids Tale Season 4: Who Will Be In The Cast?
Well, all the core cast members of the third season will return to continue their journey. These include Elisabeth Moss as June, Samira Wiley as Moira, and Alexis Bledel as Emily. Joseph Fiennes as Fred Waterford with Yvonne Strahovski as Serena Waterford and Ann Dowd as Aunt Lydia will also return. As well as Max Minghella as Nick Blaine, O-T Fagbenle as Luke Bankole, and Bradley Whitford as Commander Joseph Laurence will return.

It seems June is heading to battle for her freedom against her Gilead’s captors. However, she’s not alone in her battle, as it seems her close ones are backing her in this battle. But her journey also threatens her and the safety of her loved ones. Will she accomplish her mission?
June Finally Taste The Freedom
The following season will pick shortly after June send Gilead’s children to Canada. Well, her action has begun a war between Gilead and their northern neighbor. Elsewhere, June’s trying to hide and run from the chase while handling her rebellion team. As per the showrunner Bruce Miller, June will run for her life as she’s bleeding to death. But her motive to bring change in their lifestyle will lead her into a fascinating world.
Gilead Is Within You
As we last saw Moira, Emily, and Rita took off with the children to save them from the brutal society. However, they live with a big question now- how much Gilead did the trio took with them. “Gilead is within you,” as Aunt Lydia said, would cause them more trouble. Now how they will handle the situation while focusing on settling with these kids in Canada will be thrilling to see.
Things Will Complicate Between June And Nick
Now that June is more focused on winning back her freedom, things will become more complicated between Nick and June. As the above trailer hints that the newly-promoted Commander will go head-to-toe to find June at any cost. That might tear off everything between them. But the trailer hints that June will find a way to follow her path. Perhaps Nick will turn out as a huge help.
