The Young And The Restless: Nick LANDS BEHIND THE BARS, Joshua Morrow’s Desire Comes True

Nick Newman is the golden boy of The Young and The Restless. During his many decades on the soap, he has had the chance to be a part of many different storylines. Sometimes even repeating the same story two times over. For instance, he is currently involved in a love triangle with Sally and Adam. And it’s certainly not his first geometrical romance! Moreover, the love triangle is soon about to metamorphose into a baby-paternity drama. Again, not his first time!

Recently, in a chat with Soap Opera Digest, actor Joshua Morrow reflected on his journey as Nick on The Young and The Restless. During the chat, he spoke about a 1995 storyline that he thoroughly enjoyed. Nick was sent to prison for the attempted murder of Matt Clark. Later in 2001, Nick did a take-two behind bars when Matt faked his death and implicated Nick as the murderer. Joshua shared that he enjoyed playing out those storylines and in fact, would love to have another prison stint written in.

Nick Newman Goes To Prison On The Young And The Restless?

The Young and The Restless star shared that as an actor he loves getting to do different things. He enjoys having “movement” and mixing things up. Joshua shared that he loves that new storylines give him an opportunity to share the screen with many talented actors. As Nick, Joshua wants to portray all the shades of happiness, heartbreak, and everything else that there is to experience. “I want it all,” Joshua asserts. Well, we are sure his wish will be granted soon, as The Young and The Restless love throwing obstacles in the character’s path!

Currently, Nick is experiencing the complications of love on The Young and The Restless. But a prison stint is not an unlikely development in his story. There is always so much drama just waiting to happen. For instance, he could once again butt head with his younger brother Adam and the fight could become physical. If Nick threw a few punches at Adam, he could lodge a complaint against Nick and have him arrested. That would even get Nick temporarily out of his way and give him a new shot with Sally!
