The Young and the Restless preview for the week of August 8, 2022, reveals Phyllis will set her plan in motion. She had decided to pull down Diane with the help of Ashley and Nikki. In the preview, we saw Diane and Phyllis smile at each other and pretend to get along with each other. Phyllis has convinced Summer and Kyle to get her a job at Marchetti.
Summer is worried about her mother’s intentions and will warn her. Billy will also warn Phyllis about the consequences of her actions. However, Phyllis is in no mood to go back on her words. She has decided to bury Diane, come rain or come shine. We will have to wait and watch to find out how she will do it.
Diane Is Happy In Genoa City
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Diane is happy that her life is finally falling into place in Genoa City. Of course, she could not help but make Phyllis jealous of how well she was doing. The two of them smile at each other. However, we know Phyllis will not rest easy until Diane is out of town.
Previously, we saw Jack and Diane grow closer after Diane helped him with Harrison. Diane took Harrison to the park, where they ran into Phyllis. Of course, Phyllis said a few awful things that made Jack angry – how could she create drama in front of Harrison when he is having a tough time? In addition, Diane played her game well and brought some books on grief.

Phyllis is smiling in the preview video because she is ready with a plan already set in motion. According to the spoilers, Billy will warn Phyllis of the consequences and damage that her plan could cause. Regardless, Phyllis has made up her mind that Diane has to be kicked out of town.
As a part of her plan, Phyllis took up Summer’s previous offer to join the new Marchetti. She convinced Summer to get Kyle to give her a job. Summer convinced Kyle; however, the two will share their apprehensions about bringing Diane and Phyllis under the same roof. After Kyle agrees to the job, Summer will warn Phyllis that she will keep a check on her.
Phyllis Will Bury Diane
If things go as per Phyllis’ plan, Summer and Jack will suffer. Harrison is a major part of their lives and could become collateral damage in Phyllis’ scheme. Moreover, Harrison is already suffering after Ashland Locke’s death.
