Victor Pulls Some Strings, Or Has He Just Pulled The Plug On Sally Spectra?
Victor Newman is the kind of man who likes to be in control of things on The Young and The Restless. Currently, his sons, Nick and Adam are at war over Sally Spectra’s affection. And it’s making Adam spiral out of control. Victor can’t let that happen now, can he? He wants to make peace in his household and in his view that can only happen by taking Sally out of the picture. He’d rather that neither of his sons remain entwined with the Spunky Spectra. We know that Sally has some fantastic business idea that she wants to pitch to Jill Abbott on The Young and The Restless. Can her pitch with Jill have anything to do with the out of town job offer?
Victor has inroad with pretty much with everyone on The Young and The Restless. Perhaps the big man of Genoa City will give Jill’s mobile a ring with some info! However, it’s unlikely that any dirt Victor has on Sally would be enough to dissuade Jill from lending her ear to Sally’s pitch. After all, Jill didn’t come this far in life by being gullible to other people’s opinions and ideas.
Hence, there is a higher chance that Victor probably calls in a favor with Jill or cut a deal. He doesn’t care about Sally’s professional life, it can fly, or it can crash; Victor wouldn’t give a damn. All he cares about is getting her out of every Newman hair possible. Thus, he might push Jill to accept Sally’s pitch and make her a job offer away from Genoa City so good that she can’t refuse!
Will Sally Accept An Out Of Town Job And Leave Genoa City On The Young And The Restless?
If Victor is planning the above stated, then his plan is perfect on paper. It would have worked out without a glitch on The Young and The Restless until a few weeks ago. However, something has changed and Victor has not taken it in account. Sally is now baking a Newman bun in her oven and doesn’t know which Newman brother made the dough! Can Sally just up and leave without even figuring out who the father of her baby is? It seems highly unlikely! So, even if Jill makes her an exceptionally tempting offer, Sally will have a real hard time accepting it if it takes her away from GC.
On the flip side, Sally is no stranger to re-starting her life in a new place on The Young and The Restless. We know she ditched L.A. and came to Genoa City for a new beginning. Who’s to say she won’t do it again? Besides, she craves stability more than anything right now. A fabulous new job in a far off land could be the perfect way to leave behind all the Genoa City drama and start fresh. Moreover, this time she won’t be doing it alone, she will have her baby! Someone to love unconditionally and someone to love her back all the same!
However, if Sally chooses to leave GC, what would it mean for her portrayer, Courtney Hope? will she be exiting The Young and The Restless?
