The fandom had already quickly noticed the disturbing aspects of the Vaughn family. They exposed themselves by appearing as their true selves on the show.

As a result, they faced a barrage of public hatred, ridicule, and criticism. However, even after facing such massive backlash, they did not back down. They did not find anything wrong with what they were doing. Therefore, they kept digging a deeper grave for their reputation by defending their questionable actions. It housed the teen mother expressing her desire for another baby from Hunter, and the latter did not even deny her. Therefore, when the mother-daughter duo came out accusing TLC of staging almost the entire storyline, no one bought it. Instead, they received more hate.

Then, Mama G came forward to refute those claims as well. However, in a recent LIVE, Bella insisted that the network was responsible for all the hatred and criticism that she and her family had received. Moreover, she expressed her disappointment in the producers for profiting from her storyline but not helping the family when they were receiving hate.

Apparently, the producers controlled the narrative and threw the family out into the wild to face all the negativity. She additionally mentioned the backdoor s*x episode for which she garnered immense amounts of negative comments. Her fellow cast member, Mia, also joined the LIVE, where Bella shared that she did not want to do the show again.

“I was not aware that it was going to be fake. So fake, to the point where all the hate I’m getting is because I said something I had to say,” she claimed. However, she also acknowledged that some of the instances were not fake, like Hunter’s father’s abandonment. Even after facing such drastic consequences, she is not ready to take accountability for her questionable behavior but blames others.
