It has been a while since TLC Unexpected took over the channel. Well, the last season was turbulent as ever, thanks to Jason Korpi and Kylen Smith. Viewers had a bone to pick with the former because of his sexist and arrogant ways. For instance, he refused to let his partner be on epidurals during the time of the delivery.
That’s not all. There were segments where Korpi wanted his girlfriend to “hurry up” during the delivery, which was again very inappropriate. Viewers got to see the couple on the Tell All and found out they were still together and raising their son, Xavier. But since then, there has been no trace of them on TV screens.
When it comes to their social media, Jason has not posted anything since 2022, and neither has Kylen. But there are pictures of them on social media implying that they are still together. But, the shocking thing came into the limelight this year. An alleged distant family member on Reddit from Kylen’s side confirmed that there is abuse going on in their relationship.
But, it was a mere post on Reddit with no confirmation or credibility regarding the same. There were speculations that Jason and Kylen also might lose custody of their kid because of 11 charges under his name. But there is no update about this, as he got away scot-free and avoided consequences about the same.

There is much chatter regarding the upcoming season of TLC Unexpected. Fans have been very curious about how the new edition will turn out and the new castmates that will join the show. There have been questions regarding whether Jason Korpi will return with Kylen or not.
Jason’s father did say during the Tell All that the network wouldn’t be much of a show if it weren’t for their dramatic segment.
