Katie stressed that she has intentionally cut Scheana out of her life and wants to keep it that way.

Piling on to the drama, Katie said she’d also heard that Scheana referred to her as “a drunk” throughout the book. For Katie, it was just another low blow from someone she no longer wants anything to do with. She bluntly said to Scheana, “Leave my name out of your goddamn mouth,” as she tried to drag Katie’s name into the conversation of calling her drunk.

Katie Maloney from Vanderpump Rules has slammed former castmate Scheana Shay over her remarks. Scheana called Katie “low” and “forgettable” in her new book, My Good Side. Scheana alleged that Katie went to Brock Davies’ wedding trip to Mexico uninvited just to get paid. Katie addressed the matter and revealed that production pressures actually sent her to Mexico.

On the Sept. 10 episode of her podcast Disrespectfully, Katie revealed, “I acted not because I wanted to get paid or feared missing out.” She said that they would have to film her, regardless of whether she was in Mexico. Katie said that they paid her per episode. “I was getting that episode no matter what,” she explained. Maloney also revealed that Scheana had been panicking for months over the filming of her wedding, as Bravo initially didn’t plan to cover it.

Continuing with her podcast, Katie added that producers ultimately suggested filming two trips due to the ongoing drama between her and Scheana. She insisted she was only attending because the producers required it. The situation highlighted the tension between the two co-stars. “I  didn’t want to go and be around a bunch of people I can’t stand,” she noted.

Katie said she is professional and works hard, unlike Scheana.“I am good at my job. I don’t speak about this sh*t. I don’t spoil behind-the-scenes stuff.” Katie emphasized to everyone that, unlike Scheana, she has never been demoted. Things didn’t end here. Katie also went on to slam Scheana for criticizing Ariana Madix in her book for not checking in after learning about Brock’s affair.

She recalled, “Scheana wanted Ariana to read her mind and just ask her if she was okay.” She concluded by urging Scheana to stop discussing her: “I’ve actively put you out of my life on purpose.
