Welcome To Plathville star Kim Plath walked out of her over two-decade-old marriage with Barry Plath in June 2022. They have walked past several highs and lows during this time, besides welcoming nine kids together. Now that they have walked their separate ways, the latest season of the show features the aftermath of divorce.
This is not it, Kim was quick to enter into a relationship with Ken soon after her divorce. Her beau has also made it to Season 5, where he recently revealed some details about his divorce.
Welcome To Plathville: Did Ken Palmer Finalize His Divorce Right Before Kim’s Divorce?
Just like Kim from Welcome To Plathville, it is not her new boyfriend Ken’s first relationship with her. Ken Palmer reportedly married a woman named Bobbi in 2018 and soon filed for divorce in December next year. Their marriage was short-lived, but they filed for a joint Petition for Simplified Dissolution of Marriage.
The former husband and wife described their marriage as “irretrievably broken.” As per the divorce papers received by TheSun, Ken and his then-wife asked the court to “end their marriage and approve their marital settlement agreement.”
Ken and his ex-wife couple finally ended their marriage on February 5, 2020. This was not long before Kim expressed her desire to explore her dating life outside the marriage. She announced her separation from her long-time husband, Barry Plath, in June last year.
The Welcome to Plathville star disclosed the big news on social media. Kim shared that they had reached this decision after “considerable thought and discussion.” She went on to add that it was not an easy decision for them, certainly an important one.
Kim from Welcome To Plathville later disclosed that she will continue to co-parent her kids. The Plath kids, however, are still adjusting to the change since their parents split.
Welcome to Plathville: Kim & Her Beau Have Made It Official!
Kim did not stick to her plan of embracing freedom for long, as she quickly jumped into a relationship with Ken. So much so that he started posting pictures with her on Facebook in March 2023. Isaac Plath’s instructor has also been clicked with the other members of the Plath family on various occasions.
Ken is seemingly putting in efforts to adjust with her family besides sharing a wholesome bond with Kim. In last week’s episode of Welcome to Plathville, they discussed where their relationship stood. The reality TV star kicked off by asking what does he think of their relationship.
Kim shot another question if Ken considered her his ‘girlfriend.’ Ken’s eyes sparked as he responded with, “Oh, definitely if you would accept that title.” She then went on to express that she felt it was the right time to call each other girlfriend and boyfriend.’
Both Kim and Ken oozed sheer delight after this conversation as they finally took their relationship a step forward. What do you think of the bond they share?
