In a recent interview, Jay Manuel admitted to not having an easy time every time while dealing with OI. He suffered from internalized ableism before he met Pamela from Missouri. It’s she who showed him that he could be a disabled man and that he should be proud of it. After a brief encounter on social media, the couple fell in love.
As Pamela moved to her new state, she felt Jay’s home, her home, and him as her peace. Jay and Pamela are each other’s cheerleaders. As he brought joy into her life, she nurtured him in her own way. Their couple goals are the best as they aspire to get acting and modeling gigs after they are done with TLC. Most importantly, they are on their path to gaining more independence.

A preview clip from Jay & Pamela, posted by TLC on Instagram, showed Jay Manuel working out at the gym. Another man accompanied him. They both did the reps in the presence of a new, bold woman who happened to be their trainer. The lady told the cameras that Jay impressed her with his strength.
Jay even surprised fans when they saw him lifting dumbbells, holding planks, and doing pushups. This made the trainer happily say, “Oh my God, Jay is doing so freaking good.” However, when she asked him if he felt stronger on the plank, he quipped about performing it to stay with her.
The female trainer smiled back at Jay and said she was there for him. Many fans left their comments on the post’s caption. Most of them teased that Pamela now has something to worry about. Previously, a snippet showed Pamela confronting Jay regarding his Instagram post. She caught him red-handed, clicking a picture with his trainer.
