Vanessa Cobbs appeared on a previous season of Seeking Sister Wife, as Dimitri and Ashley Snowden were trying to court her to join their dynamic. Fans seemed to like her a lot but were suspicious about the couple’s treatment towards her. Yet, the three of them went ahead and got “spiritually” married at a huge event on the show. Only when fans started believing their storyline, Vanessa announced that she is no longer involved with the couple and they are having a divorce.
This announcement was an utter shock to the entire TLC fanbase. Most of them were confused as to what happened between them that Cobbs left the marriage within a week of tying knots. In fact, a lot of fans persuaded Vanessa to speak the truth and were ready to support her. However, possibly due to her contract, she kept her silence and only gave vague reasons. On the other hand, an actress named Ariadne Joseph also shared her story on blogger John Yates YouTube Channel. She alleged that she was sexually abused by Dimitri when she was dating him. Aside from all these empowered women, Vanessa Cobbs also stood up against the TLC couple. Hence, even though Peterson’s case was dismissed, fans were on her side.
This is when fans started talking about how Vanessa could also have been in an abusive relationship with Dimitri and Ashley. However, she didn’t get the chance to speak up like Christeline.
