Now that we know that Shawn will be out of prison sooner or later, we can’t help but think about what is next for him. He will have to rebuild his whole life. He will have to get a job, connect with his family, and even find a partner. Will he have someone posing as a threat too? Here is everything to know-
Shawn Needs A Job
General Hospital viewers would recall that Shawn was a part of Sonny’s mob organization before he was sentenced to prison. So, he has a taste of the mob life, and it doesn’t look like he will want to go back to it when he is free. He knows all the pros and cons, so he might want to rebuild his life. For that, he will have to find another job.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that there are a few options open for Shawn. First is, Curtis might offer him a job. Curtis recently opened a club. So, he will need manpower. Not just that, Curtis and Shawn have a good connection. So, they might decide to work together. It is possible that Shawn might work as the security or maybe the manager of the club alongside Curtis. Another option is Brando Corbin’s garage. While Brando was associated with the mob organization, he isn’t at the front of it. So, Shawn might find a job there is start working.
General Hospital: Spending Time With Family
For all the years when Shawn was in prison and was a mob, one thing he has missed out on the most is spending time with his family. Now when he comes out, he might want to bond with his son TJ and really get to know him. Not just that, he might even spend time with Molly Lansing Davis. Of course, reconnecting with his family won’t be so easy because Stella is posing a problem. Stella dislikes Shawn and despises him as the birth father of TJ. But that is a little price to pay. Shawn might find a way around her and connect with his family.
Who Will He Romance?
Now that Shawn is here to stay, he will also need a partner. There are multiple options on who could be his partner. First on the list is Alexis Davis. She and Shawn have been partners in the past, and she has gone over and beyond to help Shawn in prison. So, they might become a thing. However, even if Shawn is out, Alexis still has to complete her sentence. So, that could be a problem until and unless there is a miracle and Alexis is out of Pentonville too.
Another option is Jordan Ashford. Shawn and Jordan were a couple. They even have a son together. Given that Jordan is newly single, she and Shawn might come closer. Alternatively, it is also possible that General Hospital might pair Shawn with someone else. There are a number of single ladies in Port Charles at the moment.

While Shawn might come in and work on rebuilding his life, would he have to face some kind of danger? General Hospital spoilers confirm that soon the walls will be closing on Nikolas Cassadine. Does it have something to do with Shawn? It is possible that Nikolas might come to know that Shawn is out, and that would put his secret at risk. Nik might become ruthless and harm Shawn in someone.
